چکیده

An experiment is described to obtain estimates of the spectral sensitivities of a digital image capture device by photographing a wide range of input color signals. Given the red, green, and blue signals from the device and the spectral power distributions of the color signals, we apply the methods of simple linear regression, rankdeficient pseudo-inverse, and Wiener estimation. Nominal data and the results obtained by the methods are presented and compared.

Target Detection Improvements in Hyperspectral Images by Adjusting Band Weights and Identifying end-members in Feature Space Clusters

Spectral target detection could be regarded as one of the strategic applications of hyperspectral data analysis. The presence of targets in an area smaller than a pixel’s ground coverage has led to the development of spectral un-mixing methods to detect these types of targets. Usually, in the spectral un-mixing algorithms, the similar weights have been assumed for spectral bands. Howe...

حساسیت طیفی بالا به ‌روش حسگری چندمدی در حسگر تشدید پلاسمون سطحی و استفاده از آن جهت اندازه‌گیری ضخامت لایه جاذب با ضریب شکست مشخص

In this paper surface plasmon resonance sensor is studied by using gold and silver in its structure respectively, also the possibility of extraordinary high spectral sensitivity by using multimode sensing scheme is being investigated in this sensor. It is shown that due to the extraordinary high spectral sensitivity of surface plasmon resonance sensor measuring adsorbate layer thickness could b...

Methods for spectral characterization of multispectral cameras

High fidelity color image acquisition requires an accurate characterization of the camera’s spectral sensitivity curves to perform color calibration or spectral estimation. Several methods have been proposed to perform this task; these include characterizations via test charts, narrowband filters and methods utilizing a monochromator. In most publications, RGB cameras are characterized. In this...

Improving the Performance of Bayesian Estimation Methods in Estimations of Shift Point and Comparison with MLE Approach

A Bayesian analysis is used to detect a change-point in a sequence of independent random variables from exponential distributions. In This paper, we try to estimate change point which occurs in any sequence of independent exponential observations. The Bayes estimators are derived for change point, the rate of exponential distribution before shift and the rate of exponential distribution after s...

Rank-based camera spectral sensitivity estimation.

In order to accurately predict a digital camera response to spectral stimuli, the spectral sensitivity functions of its sensor need to be known. These functions can be determined by direct measurement in the lab-a difficult and lengthy procedure-or through simple statistical inference. Statistical inference methods are based on the observation that when a camera responds linearly to spectral st...
